Time to leave Bundi and head further west through the Aravalli Hills to the hill top fort at Chittorgarh and on to so-called 'Venice of the East' - Udaipur

Murals in our room in Bundi...

I loved these two bathroom ones, especially the crocodile in this one...

and the whiskered dolphin-like creature in this one...

A stuffed leopard in the breakfast room...

An unfortunate bear...

Flowers in the courtyard garden as we left. They also had a fountain containing catfish...

Indian travel in a nutshell: cows casually meandering in front of us at their own pace and a lorry bearing down on us from the other direction...

Camels and their herders on the way to Pushkar on this dual carriageway...

A couple made a break for the central reservation...

The wizened old herder...

Chittorgarh

The largest fort in India with a glorious and tragic past that still seemed to hang in the air.

We arrived at the base, but our coach was too big to go up, so we split into Tuk Tuks for an exhilarating ride to the top...

Lynn & Richard...

Kathy and John...

Miche letting go to wave...

Something about a tourist in a Tuk Tuk that provokes a friendly response...
