A trip to Cambridgeshire with Max

Bankside view of the lake - an old brickworks quarry that flooded after it closed in 1945...
 






We did 3 dives:
Dive 1 - 52 minutes, maximum depth = 16.5m, Average depth = 9.5m;
Dive 2 - 72 minutes, maximum depth = 15.9m, Average depth = 8.2m;
Dive 3 - 48 minutes, maximum depth = 17.4m, Average depth = 7.6m;
The water temperature was 15 degrees.

It was pretty murky with visibility varying from 6 metres right down to about 1 metre.

As well as these larger chaps, we saw large shoals of juveniles and a large pike...

Underwater forest in the shallows... this tree comes complete with a Christmas decoration...
