It was really good to meet the rest of the group the evening before, in many ways today was the start of the trip proper.

First off, another hop over the Andes to the Amazon basin near the border with Bolivia...

We headed to the market in Puerto Maldonado for the purchase of life's essentials - flip-flops & Brazil nuts.
