We took the catamaran from Valletta to the smaller island of Gozo.

Despite being there independently, we were adopted by an over-maternal tour guide from a tour company who thought we were in her group and bundled us into a small boat to go through the crack and out to sea - despite a small admonishment for not bearing our 'pink badges'.

The boat owners don't take money when you get in, but stop in the sea and ask for it before they approach the jetty - we decided not to jump in and swim for it to save a few Euros...
