After a long summer without a break, it was time to head to Northern Spain for some cycling and to hit Barcelona in full tourist mode.



Day 1 - London to Calella Day 2 - Calella Day 3 - Cycle to Sa Punta (Platja de Pals)
Day 4 - Cycle loop - Begur Day 5 - Cycle to Casavells Day 6 - Cycle loop - Pubol - Dali
Day 7 - Cycle to Calella Day 8 - Calella to Barcelona Day 9 - Barcelona - incl. Nou Camp
Day 10 - Barcelona - Gaudi Miro Day 11 - Barcelona to Home  



With a very early morning flight and not wanting to risk a fraught journey on the M25 on the day, we booked had into an airport hotel.

TGV from Barcelona to Girona, followed by a not so GV local train to Flaca...





Miche was informed that she may need a turbo for the cycling, but in a communications mix-up, ordered a turbot instead...

A divine Crema Catalan - essentially a massive crème brulee but flavoured with cinnamon and tasted like pure Christmas - unsurprisingly, not the last one I ate on this trip...
