The Indonesian Journey Begins
Early start to get to the airport for the 08:30
to Medan in Sumatra and to meet the group we'd be travelling with in
Indonesia.
The Towers unlit...
Getting ready to leave the room for a day of
travelling...
We'd booked the room as an anniversary and they had
given us a celebratory cake and a rose for Miche when we arrived...
I liked the lift design...
We didn't have time to go anywhere fancy, but Dunkin'
Donuts turned out just fine, no doughnuts were sampled during the visit
though...
A one hour
flight and a time zone change meant that we arrived at the same time that we
took off...
One of many

Indonesia had
some fantastic roundabout and roadside statues, but I was too slow with the
camera for most of them, this one's a bit revolutionary, but most of the
others were far more whimsical or traditional...
