The journey to the snow - A two week trip to Whistler and frankly the forecast and snow depths were a little concerning prior to travelling, so we weren't sure what to expect...


We were flying from the newly re-built Terminal 2 and after seeing a flash climate change protest with people dressed as polar bears and sheep (unless the latter were just crappy polar bear costumes), we checked in.

After being held up for ages at security by a dimwitted family that sent their kids through in separate queues to them with an archery bow and enough liquid make-up for Paris Fashion Week, we finally made it inside.

After a delay getting the bus up to Whistler, we sensibly opted for instant acclimatisation in the Dubh Linn Gate for beer & poutine...
