With Dave & Neil using this weekend day as a rest day to avoid the crowds,
Andy & I headed back to Flute and ended up trying some different lines.
Top of the hike...

Posing and taking a breather from the walk up...

Andy's board &
Black Tusk...

Summit time...

Me and some arse who was playing crappy
Euro-pop music from a speaker - you don't hike away from the main slopes to
listen to that shit, thankfully he slid off in his Barbie-world...

Sequence of Andy coming down the North Flute Bowl...

2...

4...

We then headed off to just below the avalanche
debris...
The iconic Black Tusk up close...

So photogenic,
I've take so many photos of it over the years - when you can see it that is...

My board, summit
& Black Tusk...

Summer hiking sign on the boundary...

Andy taking the
cornice into Flute North Bowl...
incoming...

Ice encrusted trees on the walk up...

No crowds here - we could see our lines
through the debris that we'd taken 2 runs ago...

Some of the nicest snow of the trip...

Hiking up to Lesser Flute Bowl...

Looking back to the North Flute Cornice
line. We watched a guy being photographed by his girlfriend taking a very
ballsy drop midway along it, only for her to yell to him to do it again as
she'd unfortunately missed the shot...

Electric
Six at the GLC
Having missed them last time they played, we bought tickets in
advance to catch their show this time round...
The Kokanee promotion team...

Andy posing so he could have his free beer...
Support act The Mandevilles...
Electric Six...
A great, energetic show in a tiny venue...
