Jaipur City

We took an afternoon Tuk Tuk into the city to try and find a bangle for Miche.

We found hardware markets, flower markets, bicycle markets and even tile markets, but we came back empty handed on the bangle front.

Cow taking a wander...

The traffic came in all shapes and sizes...

This chap had also found the shopping tiring...

Having seen the beauty of some of the city's finest architecture, other sights were less easy on the eye: Cows sitting in and eating rubbish...

A large sow finds a morsel in a discarded bag...

Cow and calf...

Bollywood Movie

That night we went to see the 3-hour long new Bollywood rom-com 'Student of the Year' in one of India's most famous cinemas - Raj Mandir.

A surreal and unmissable experience: it was populated by 90%+ young men, dressed smartly in shirts; there was much whooping and leaping about during the action movie trailer and at any point in the film where smoldering looks were exchanged. Just before the interval, there was a punch-up a few rows behind us and everyone left before the end once they knew what the ending would be, even though the film was still going on.

Blurry night-shot of the exterior...
