The Journey Begins
A long overdue visit to Egypt to see the sites &
antiquities and to cruise down the Nile, it exceeded all expectations.
With an
early morning
flight and not wanting to risk a fraught journey on the M25 on the day, we
booked had into an airport hotel.

into T2 from the rooftop bar at the hotel...
The journey

the hotel in Zamelek, which was a converted
palace built on a man-made island in the Nile...

Egypt is so
obsessed with football that when the live band
came on they just played in front of the screen
so people could see both...
