Our walking ambitions on the Horton Plains were dashed by the weather, so we switched plans and headed to the backpacker destination of Ella.

Huge snail, it wasn't the only wet-loving creature out there - there were plenty of leaches...

Ella is famous for its 9 Arch Bridge which draws in people for their Insta pictures...
