Even the touting for lunchtime trade was laid back...

Inside Alfred's where I was asked to prove I was of legal drinking age for the first time in 20 years! I was flattered at the time, but we found out that they can be a bit over-zealous in Tennessee on this; Miche ran into the same thing in a Moonshine bar in Gatlinburg, but had no photo I.D. with her and was refused service...

Memphis's answer to the Hollywood walk of fame, legendary artists receive a note in the sidewalk...

Mississippi River Boat Cruise

We joined a paddle boat trip on the Mississippi and decided to be tourists again and get this photo too...

The Memphis Bridge, pyramid and Mud Island.

The Memphis Belle bomber used to be housed on Mud Island, but the city didn't look after it and the owners took it off them! Naughty Memphis, no bomber for you.

We were buzzed by a microlight...

During the cruise we crossed the state line into Arkansas...

After a long day we retired to the roof garden for cocktails and to watch the sunset...
