Another early morning start, too early for breakfast in the hotel and it's off to the airport to catch the flight to Sandarkan...
A desperate search for strong coffee is undertaken, but there are other tasty treats on offer at the airport...

A quick bus ride takes to us to the rehabilitation centre at Sepilok...
Having really looked forward to visiting Sepilok, I was a little disappointed that we only got to see a single staged feeding time and didn't get to see more of the work the centre carries out or walk more of the trails. The Orangs that visited the feeding were free to roam and they have no idea how many, if any, will show up on any given day...
The rangers were keen to keep certain of the resident long-tailed macaques away from the feeding station...

After leaving Sepilok we visited the Rain Forest Discovery Centre nearby, allegedly a haven for wild birds and even orang utans, however it was a Saturday and busy with shouty kids, which meant if a creature could move, it wouldn't be within 5 miles of the place; the scenery was pretty though...
