Eyjafjallajökull (which means 'Island mountain glacier' apparently)

Looking a lot calmer than it did in April 2010...

Mýrdalsjökull Glacier

An ice arch on the tongue...

Another ice bridge further up the glacier...

Ash from Eyjafjallajökull still blows onto the glacier...

The Mýrdalsjökull covers the volcano of Katla which is long overdue to erupt...

A river under the glacier...

Back on the bus and heading South East...
