Day 10 - Unfortunately Paul J's condition didn't improve overnight and he headed down to the HRA medical post at Pheriche for further observations.
Listed as a 'rest' day, but better described as an acclimatisation session and practice for Kala Patthar.
Nangkartshang seemed to have a slightly more direct route and being earlier in the acclimatisation process, I found this peak a far bigger effort than Kala Patthar. Many thanks to Lakpa for his encouragement & patience on the way up, my tanks just felt empty and I was stopping for a rest after every 5m of height gained, but it was worth it in the end and definitely helped later on.
