Day 14 - Our first big descent day, taking the alternative route via Pheriche and the Lobuche Khola. Tengboche always seemed to be around the next corner, but never was. Eventually we got there and attended the evening ceremony at the monastery. Another undulating day - ascent 285m, descent 1295m.
