Introduction and Days 1 & 2

Day 7 - An easier day spent acclimatising on the move and visiting local sites. Ascent 640m, descent 415m. We saw a number of Impeyen Pheasants (the national bird of Nepal, also known as a Monal, they look a bit like a peacock without the ostentatious tail) and Lamergiers (vultures known for their trick of breaking open bones by picking them up, flying high and repeatedly dropping them to get at the marrow). Alas we didn't see any Musk deer.
