A much smoother two-hour Speedboat ride took us to Isabella

In the
Galapagos you have to prove that your boat is beyond repair to be able
to buy a new one - cutting it in half and leaving it by the side of the
road is one way of doing it...

Lava Lizard - probably the most vividly orange-throated one I saw...
The Sea Lions had first dabs on the benches on Isabella too...

One of the most stunning sights that I have ever seen - adult Whitetip Sharks use this flooded channel to rest during the day...

They would cruise calmly up and down the tube to keep the water flowing over their gills...
Large adult near the surface...
To make it even more incredible - in places the walls of the channel were covered in Marine Iguanas...
Seven sharks and a wall full of marine iguanas!
The
area is an ideal spot for a large colony of juvenile marine iguanas as
the aa lava present plenty of hiding places from aerial predators...
The iguanas were happy to just sit or wander on the path that people were walking along...
