At
the end of what was already a full day we headed off to an inlet on the
other side of the harbour for a spot of snorkelling - I'm so glad we
did.
Coral...

This little Throatspotted Blenny was happy to stand his ground...
Crowned Sea Urchins...
Poisonous, but with an alluring blue centre...
A particularly vivid one...
Island Major Damselfish - they'd look at you for as long as they dared and then swim into the crevice that they were guarding...
The
sight I'd been looking forward to seeing on the trip - seeing a Marine
Iguana swim from under the water (many thanks to Heather for calling me over)...
Cruising the shallow water close to the rocky shore...
If I'm being greedy, I really wanted to see one eat underwater (like the BBC series one) - but this was very close...

Fanged Blenny - despite the toothy name, they eat algae. I saw lots of
these, but they normally shot off well before getting in camera range...
The less-confusingly named Blue Sea Star...
A large coral formation that looked like a slightly surreal Terry Gilliam creation as it arose from the sea bed with nothing similar anywhere nearby...
